Gwyneth Paltrow gets stung by bees to make her beautiful

Some women will do just about anything in the name of beauty - and that includes Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently confessed that she's purposely been stung by bees as a beauty treatment.

The 40-year-old actress has been pretty open about her quest for eternal beauty.

She recently told the New York Times that this treatment, which is believed to be thousands of years old, is used to get rid of inflammation and scarring.

She didn't elaborate on whether it actually works or how many times she's tried it - but she was quoted recently as saying: " I think the forties are such a gift and I feel more beautiful now than I did 20 years ago."
