John Lewis knows how to make a Christmas ad and this year's offering is another tear-jerker. The £1m commercial tells the story of little girl Lily and the lonely man on the moon - encouraging shoppers to remember older people who often feel alone at this time of year.

This time, they hired pop video maker Joseph Kahn to produce an upbeat ad. Jessie J sings Everybody's Waitin' for The Man with the Bag by Kay Starr on the soundtrack.
