Have a cracking Easter!

Updated

Are you looking forward to the extra-long weekend? Easter is only a 4-day holiday but so much gets packed into it that it can become a bit of a headache if you haven't planned ahead. We're going to take a look at the all the most popular searches in every aspect of the Easter holiday weekend so you can be prepared for the chaos - and fun!

Firstly, and of course most importantly, Easter eggs. Many Christians would disagree but I'm sure most children would tell you that chocolate eggs at Easter is the main event. Children's eggs are often associated with characters so you can choose your child's favourite. If you're looking for something a bit more grownup, happily there is an enormous range of luxury eggs to choose from: white, milk and dark chocolate and all delicious! And if you really want to push the boat out, you could buy a Giorgio Armani Dolci egg for a mere £55!

If you're feeling a little sick after all that chocolate, maybe it's time to think about the next top Easter search: travel. Most people like to take advantage of the long weekend by taking a short break. If you plan to do this, make sure you are really well prepared so you don't get caught in all the Bank Holiday traffic!

Easter is a Christian celebration but a lot of its traditions came from Paganism and are celebrated by many different people. Traditions such as egg hunts and painting eggs are still enjoyed by children today. Another Easter tradition is eating hot cross buns. The reason for this is that the cross on top of the bun is meant to represent the cross on which Jesus was crucified on Good Friday.

If you find the time between eating all those eggs, send a comment and tell us about your Easter!
