UK Car of the Year: Ford Fiesta

The new Fiesta from Ford has been selected by the British motor magazine 'What Car?' as their 'Car of the Year'. The editorial panel were full of praise for the looks, handling and fuel efficiency of the Fiesta 1.25i Zetec. The vehicle is manufactured at the Ford plant in the Mexican city of Cuautitlán. This is where they also make the F-Series truck.

The new Fiesta will be launched on the US market with a four-cylinder 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated engine and six-gear dual clutch transmission. The Fiesta is awaited with much anticipation. To while away the waiting time, take a look at the following photo gallery.
