UK runner climbs into river to rescue stranded sheep

This is the moment a brave runner climbed into a river in Northamptonshire to rescue a stranded sheep.

Paul Hurst was on a morning jog on Monday (June 7) when two ladies flagged him down saying a sheep was stuck in the River Nene.

Hurst climbed into the water and hauled the stricken creature onto the bank.

The sheep immediately let out a loud "baa" as though thanking Hurst for saving her life.
