Black Friday deals are rolling in early this year for good reason. The supply chain crisis is real, and e-tailers are trying to incentivize shoppers to stock up before shortages and delivery delays throw a monkey wrench in their holiday plans.
It looks like they’ll have stiffer-than-ever competition, to boot. The National Retail Federation recently announced it expects the highest holiday retail sales ever in 2021 — a rise of up to 10.5 percent over last year — so it’s crucial to order gifts and holiday hosting essentials now so they arrive in time, says retail and shopping expert Kristen Gall of Rakuten Rewards.
