John Lewis releases exclusive Ren skincare set that's excellent value
John Lewis is bringing us all the beauty bargains this month, a few weeks back it launched an exclusive Clarins beauty box that sold out within days. Tried & Tested: Why I rate REN's Evercalm collection
I've tried both the Overnight Recovery Balm (usually £46 for 30ml) and the Redness Relief Serum (usually £50 for 30ml), and would highly recommend both.
The Overnight Recovery is ideal if you struggle with very dry, flaky skin and is a rich balm that melts into an oil on the skin. I like to apply it around my nose if I've spent a long day outside in the cold, or to soothe patches of dryness on my hands, elbows and knees - it's a fantastic multi-purpose product, especially for winter.
The Redness Relief Serum performs particularly well on rosacea. I have mild, but continuous redness on my cheeks, and I find this lightweight cream applied after cleansing, decreases redness in as little as half an hour. It also reduces the tightness or itchy feeling I sometime get after a flare-up.
