Officer smashes window to rescue woman trapped in car

A police officer smashed the window to rescue a woman trapped in a car submerged by floodwater in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province on June 22, shows a police officer smashing a car window repeatedly and then freeing the woman trapped inside.

According to reports, the car broke down in the deep floodwater and was washed to the bottom of a slope.

Since the floodwater opened the trunk door, it ran into the car immediately and the water level was at her neck.

Thanks to the police officer, the woman was rescued successfully.
