Mum in Australia finds dozens of spiders in daughter’s room

A woman in Australia was left stunned as she discovered dozens of spiders crawling the walls of her daughter’s room.

When the mum entered the room she discovered countless Huntsman spider on the walls.

Pictures of the arachnids went viral on social media.

Huntsman spiders are known by this name because of their speed and hunting style.

On average, a Huntsman spider's leg span can reach up to 15cm (5.9in), while their bodies measure about 1.8cm (0.71in) long.

Like most spiders, they use venom to immobilise prey. They have been known to inflict serious defensive bites on humans.
