Miami Dolphins Snap Conclusions after bad loss at Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins were humbled in a 48-20 loss at Buffalo on Sunday.

Andrew Van Ginkel and De'Von Achane played well.

That's about it.

Here is a look at Snap Conclusions after evaluating the playing time from Sunday's game book:

C Liam Eichenberg, 65 snaps, 100 percent - Eichenberg had a few tough moments as a replacement for injured Connor Williams, including on the play in which Terron Armstead was injured. Eichenberg is a smart player who wants badly to execute proper technique. It just hasn't all come together for Eichenberg.

LT Terron Armstead, 22 snaps, 34 percent - The Dolphins can only hope Armstead does not have a serious injury. He was seen leaving the stadium on crutches. Armstead entered this game with at least three injuries. Even though Kendall Lamm is a capable replacement, Armstead's leadership is almost a necessity.

RB De'Von Achane, 39 snaps, 60 percent - Achane out-snapped Raheem Mostert, who fumbled twice, losing the ball once. In limited snaps as a rookie, Achane actually leads the AFC in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. Jeff Wilson's tough inside rushing will be a welcome addition as early as next Sunday. But Achane has the highest ceiling of all Dolphins running backs.

LB Andrew Van Ginkel, 44 snaps, 76 percent - Van Ginkel had 2 sacks, 3 tackles for loss and 4 tackles as he continues to out-snap Emmanuel Ogbah as a replacement for injured Jaelan Phillips. He's been a revelation for defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. It looks like Miami could use more from Christian Wilkins, Bradley Chubb on Raekwon Davis. On Sunday, they totaled 3 tackles.

CB Justin Bethel, 39 snaps, 67 percent - Bethel is a solid veteran. But perhaps it's time for Fangio to give rookie Cam Smith a look at wide corner on Sunday, allowing Kader Kohou to move back inside. Recently acquired cornerback Kelvin Joseph also got six snaps. After four weeks of watching, is Cam ready to be unleashed?
