Helmet saves motorcyclist's life after truck's trailer slams into his head

A helmet saved a motorcyclist's life after a truck's trailer slammed into his head in central China.

The terrifying video, shot in the city of Xiangyang in Hubei Province on August 29, shows the trailer of a truck slamming into a motorcyclist named Dou waiting at traffic lights.

Dou was then sent to hospital for treatment.

Thanks to the helmet, Dou's head was not injured and he only suffered minor injuries to his leg.
