Halle Berry is a natural beauty.

On Wednesday, the 54-year-old actress showed off her long and curly hair in a sun-kissed selfie for her more than 7 million Instagram followers.

"Love is in the hair…" she captioned the post.

Celebrity friends and fans alike flooded Berry's comments admiring the Boomerang star's luscious, natural curls.

"Ooh la la!" Chelsea Handler said.

"Gorgeous hair," a fan wrote.

"So curly and beautiful hair," A commenter added.

"Halle got that natural beauty! That’s what I’m talking about!" someone continued.

This is not the first time Berry has embraced her natural curls. Earlier this week, she shared another glimpse of her natural hair as she went topless in a colorful sheer skirt in celebration of Pride month.

In a 2012 interview with the Huffington Post, Berry opened up about her signature pixie cut, which she said made her feel like her "best self."

"I’ve had long hair until I was about 18 or 19, when I first started acting. I would go to auditions and see every other girl in the room with long, curly hair, whether it be natural or weaved in. I remember thinking this isn’t working for me. I have to somehow be different from these girls, so I cut all my hair off. I went to my manager’s office and he almost had a heart attack," she recalled.

After her manager at the time told her that she was never going to be able to find work because she was no longer commercial, she noted that she did not want to look like every other woman looking in the industry. Then it was two weeks later that she landed her first acting gig on ABC's Living Dolls. But standing out in a very image conscious industry was not the only reason why she said she wanted to cut her hair.

"Growing up as a black woman, I felt that if I didn’t have long hair, I wasn’t going to be beautiful," Berry admitted. "I always thought that. Cutting my hair was freeing. Someone saying you’re beautiful and the fact that you have no hair makes you even more beautiful, said to me it’s not about my hair. It’s about something else we emanate. I’ve lived with that my whole life."
