Extraordinary 140-metre-high glass bridge in China is not for the fainthearted

This extraordinary 140-metre-high glass bridge in eastern China is not for the faint-hearted.

The video, shot in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province, shows the 100-metre-long structure named the Ruyi Bridge connecting two canyons.

When plans for the structure were first unveiled, many people thought it couldn’t be constructed as the designs looked too far-fetched.

Now that the vision is a reality, it’s still proving too much for many to stomach, but the bridge has already welcomed over 200,000 tourists.

Take a closer look in the video above.
