Hate lugging around a heavy, bulky vacuum? We hear you — and if you have allergies or pets, you’re probably taking out that old sucker at least once every couple of days. Sure, it’s no one’s favorite way to spend an afternoon, but it has to get done, right?

While we can’t exactly make vacuuming more fun, we certainly can make it less of a chore. Robot vacs take the stress out of getting all the dirt and dust bunnies out of nooks and crannies, and you don’t even have to lift a finger. With either the push of a button (or for some newer models, the download of an app) you can have your whole house cleaned while you’re not even home.

Roomba robot vacs are the Ferraris of e-vacs, and the price often reflects that gold standard. They rarely go on sale, and when they do, you need to act fast — they never stay in stock for long. Amazon currently has the beloved E5 on sale.

Designed for homes with pets, this renewed smart vac will suck up any dirt and hair left behind by your precious furbabies. Amazing for both wood floors and carpets, it can navigate under and around furniture and even steer clear of your inquisitive cat. Its Cliff Detect sensor helps it not fall down the stairs, too.

The Roomba E5 has a specialized three-stage cleaning system and five times the power-lifting suction of other vacs to really deep clean. And, this is really cool: The vacuum has dirt detect sensors that tip off your robot about dirtier areas of your home, so that it can clean them more thoroughly.

Got hardwood and carpet? No problem! The E5 has an auto-adjusting cleaning head to adapt its height for both to get an effective clean.

You can control all the action with the iRobot Home app, Google Assistant or Alexa, so tidying up is as simple as, "Alexa: Clean the floors."

“This is one badass robot vacuum,” one shopper raved. “It did all the things I expected and more. Fun surprises: the grout in the entryway changed color so much I am fairly ashamed of my previous cleaning habits; It cleaned EVERYWHERE and found its way out of EVERYTHING; it was quieter than anticipated so didn’t traumatize our giant furry babies; my hard-to-impress partner thinks it is the best thing ever.”

"With 2 dogs, 3 cats & 4 teenagers — I run this baby 3 times a day!" a fellow happy customer said. "It makes keeping the floors clean so much easier than vacuuming by hand every day."

You can even run this vac at night. "I absolutely love it!!! We picked the schedule vacuum time for when we are all sleeping. We don’t even hear it," a satisfied reviewer said.

Remember: This markdown won't last. If you've been toying with the idea of investing in a robot vacuum, it's time to act.
