A pub has sold Britain's most expensive pint for £755 - after auctioning off its first poured beer in over a year for charity.

The Packhorse pub auctioned off its first pint inside the premises on Monday May 17, the day indoor hospitality was allowed to reopen in England.

The 15th-century tavern in South Stoke, near Bath, poured a pint of Birra Moretti for sisters Olivia and Isabelle Cundy.

The pair made the whopping winning bid along with other family members.

The proceeds of the auction are going towards Dorothy House Hospice Care based in Bath, and The Mountain Way charity which helps former military personnel overcome PTSD.

Bidding on the pint ended on eBay just before the pub opened.
