Fire at hotel on Blackpool promenade - Video
A hotel on Blackpool promenade was damaged when a fire broke out on Thursday.
The blaze was on the top floor of the Howard Crest Hotel in Bolton Street and eight fire crews were sent to the scene, the Blackpool Gazette reports.
The hotel was reportedly empty but residents living nearby were evacuated.
According to the BBC, the sea front hotel was undergoing repairs after being damaged in Thursday's storm.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
