Hungry English Bulldog Puppy Yelling at Mom for Lunch Is the Cutest Thing on the Internet

Just like humans, animals can get grouchy when they are hungry. Petunia is an English Bulldog puppy who is not only adorable, but her mom Carla says she's also got some attitude. Carla shared a video showing off Petunia's attitude at the end of April, and it's the cutest thing you'll see today.

It's lunchtime at Petunia's house, and she is ready to eat. She wants her mom to feed her NOW! I think it's safe to say that Petunia is hangry! Make sure that you have your sound on so you can hear what Petunia has to say about her mom trying to starve her.

I seriously could watch Petunia all day! She is so dang cute and she is feisty, too! Carla's video got a lot of attention, and people left close to 300 comments about the puppy. @mikemo3175 made me laugh when he said, "One spicy potato!" @JaclynSharf agreed and shared, "Spicy! I love her sass." @Laura swooned, "I need a Petunia in my life. She could keep my boy dogs in line, lol!" and Carla replied, "She would!"

What to Know About English Bulldogs as Pets

Petunia makes me want to get a bulldog, and based on the comments, I am not alone! I always thought I'd want an English Bulldog as a pet since they are such laid back dogs that like to sleep a lot and are the ultimate couch potato dogs. But there are some things about them that make me think that maybe a bulldog isn't the right dog for my family.

Some of the things that I like about these dogs is that the breed is known for their goofy personalities, and they provide endless entertainment. Even just watching them walk can make me laugh! They love their humans and are very loyal. They make great watch dogs (not guard dogs because they aren't the fastest movers) but they'll tell you when people are coming. They're great with children and other animals, which is always a plus. They aren't known to be barkers...well, most of them are not. Petunia seems to be pretty vocal!

They aren't highly active, which is both a good and a bad thing. They don't require a whole lot of room to run around which makes them great apartment or small space dogs. They love running around and playing with their toys...they just aren't as enthusiastic about it for long period of times like other dogs. If you're looking for a dog who's active and likes to play and go on walks and accompany you everywhere, this breed may not be for you.

Bringing home a dog simply because it's cute is never a good idea. All dog breeds have things that are good about them and things that are bad about them. You might find that the cons outweigh the pros and that the dog isn't a fit for your family.
