Golden Retriever's Sweet 'Snorts and Face Cuddles' Are Capturing Hearts Everywhere

As a dog owner, there are so many fun things to do with your four-legged friend. Whether you prefer to go for a hike in the forest or catch up on your favorite TV show on the sofa, you can find a canine BFF who's more than happy to hang out with you. Even if your dog is more athletic than lovey-dovey, though, most owners can speak from experience about how great it is to cuddle with a dog.

Some of my most beloved moments with both of my dogs have been the sweet and cuddly times. Even though my Husky isn't much of a snuggler at all, the few times he's voluntarily laid his head in my lap and gone to sleep have nearly brought tears to my eyes.

I wish that my pups would cuddle a bit more than they do, so I can only imagine how overjoyed 'the Golden Pupstars'' parents are to have such snugglebugs for dogs. An April 5 video of Moose snorting with joy while cuddling with his dad is the cutest proof!

Aww! I don't think Moose could be any cuter. This affectionate dog is having the time of his life snuggling up to Dad, and those piggy-like snorts are the evidence. I guess his parents named him after the wrong wild animal! His mom jokes that "we call him Piglet," and it's easy to see why.'

Moose's viewers love his happy dog sounds almost as much as they love the way he squishes himself up against Dad. These are such forceful cuddles, but they're executed with nothing but love. It truly doesn't get better than that!

I can't help but wonder what Moose's brothers (also Golden Retrievers) think of his aggressive affection. Bear and Arlo are also happy, loving dogs, but they don't seem to love cuddles in quite the same way. At least they don't snort when they snuggle up to Mom and Dad!

Golden Cuddles are Heavenly... and Heavy

When this Golden Retriever is giving Dad 'face cuddles,' he's also tossing his entire body around on top of him. As precious as it is, it's got to be heavy, too! Goldens and other Retriever breeds are all large dog breeds, after all, so it's not the same as cuddling up with a teddy bear.

On average, the male Golden Retriever weighs about 65-75 pounds when fully grown. Most of them will be around 24 inches from the paws to the tips of the shoulders, but every dog is different. There's no question, though, that Moose's cuddles could take anyone's breath away. Luckily, his dad knew what was coming!
