There is nothing and we mean nothing that would ever compel us to cross a puppy.  Could you even imagine making a dog cry? Sometimes it happens by accident, like it did for one Golden Retriever who had the most heartbreaking pout.

Things got really out of hand when the Golden's dog dad dared to take his toy away from him.

The Golden wasn't just a little peeved, they were downright heartbroken. The video shared by their mama shows the dog's lip quivering and its eyes tearing up after dad pulled their precious toy away.

"No! Oh no!" the dog's mom said from behind the camera. Oh the drama! The dog was really having a moment. "Did he take it?"

Honestly the whole thing was so over-the-top that the woman just had to laugh.

"When dad takes your toy," the video's caption joked.

Honestly we get it. We'd feel the same way if someone took away our iPhones. The comments section was also feeling for the Golden because most of them demanded the swift return of his toy — ASAP. "Oooh noooo give back that baby’s toy. Poor big little one!" one person exclaimed. "I saw that face and I immediately started screaming 'WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU?!' at my phone," someone else admitted. "Listen……I will square up with both of you. Give my friend the toy back right now," another commenter threatened. "I don't know what was done to that poor baby, but it needs to be rectified pronto," another person joked.

Best Toys for Golden Retrievers

Hmmmm, it seems like mom and dad really stepped in it this time. They're going to need to make it up to the Golden, perhaps with a shopping trip to the pet store where they can stock up on some more goodies.

If they're looking for the perfect toy for their pup, active toys like Nylabone and Kong-type products can keep them engaged. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are fun for dogs to carry around. Ropes and tennis balls are also great for dogs because it helps them release all that energy.

Dogs also use toys as a source of comfort. They might see small stuffed animals or soft toys as a friend they can carry around the house. While other dogs might try and "kill" their stuffy, which would mean getting one big enough that they won't choke on it when they tear it apart.

Something tells us that the toy that dad took was a stuffy. So we can totally see why that left the poor guy feeling distressed. Bring back his friend!
