'Dancing On Ice': Gemma Collins delighted by Jason Gardiner axe claims

Gemma Collins has made her feelings perfectly clear about Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner, following reports that he may not be returning to the show.

The pair famously exchanged heated words live on air during last year’s series, which prompted the TOWIE star to claim she was being bullied by Gardiner.

Their feud continued over the course of the series, with Gardiner later apologising for comparing Collins to a “refrigerator”.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Collins has now had her say on the reports that the judge has been axed from the skating show.

“Hallelujah, let’s be fair, he only works twice a year in TV. I think he does Dancing on Ice and panto,” she told presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.

“Would we miss him this year? Hell no!”

Justifying her comments, Collins once again spoke of Gardiner’s treatment of her on Dancing on Ice.

“With me, people are probably watching this and thinking ‘she’s a bit strong’, but you can criticise someone, but you don’t have to get personal.

“Criticise me all day long, but don’t get personal especially with mental health and bullying and stuff now.”

She added: “Hallelujah, this is great news. My show starts tonight, Jason Gardiner’s not coming back, it couldn’t be better.”

This comes after The Sun reported that the judge’s position on the show is currently in question, after being told by a source: “Bosses have become concerned in light of the axing of The Jeremy Kyle Show, that contestants could have a cause for complaint.

"After the rows with Gemma last year, producers started to make quiet inquiries about potential replacements."
