Florence Pugh channels Old Hollywood in pale pink negligée
Florence Pugh stunned on the British Independent Film Awards red carpet on Sunday as she posed up a storm in a silk, dusty pink negligée and co-ordinating diaphanous cape.
The 26-year-old actor looked straight out of an Old Hollywood movie in the Rodarte dress, which featured lace trims and a large floral embellishment at the centre, for the star-studded London event.
She added height to her enviable frame with simple strappy Aquazzura heels and sparkling jewellery from Tiffany & Co completed the look.
The Oscar-winning Little Women star has put a particularly stylish foot forward and wowed in a number of stunning ensembles at red carpet premieres and fashion shows alike in recent months.
A close relationship with Valentino has meant that Pugh and her stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, have often turned to the fashion house for big events over the years.
Not least for her incredible sheer pink, nipple-baring look at the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show earlier this year sparked much debate and prompted the star to defend her sartorial decisions.

"Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it," Pugh wrote on Instagram.
"What’s been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see," she continued.
"What’s more concerning is…. Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none?" she added. "What. Is. So. Terrifying."
Elsewhere, Pugh and Corbin-Murray – who is also behind the fashion-forward looks from the likes of Lily James, Gemma Chan and Simone Ashley – have since experimented with the soft lace of Rodarte and gilded glamour of Louis Vuitton.
One thing's for sure, Pugh's daring approach to red carpet fashion always keeps us guessing – and we can't wait to see what she wears at forthcoming premieres, fashion shows and awards seasons.

Pugh stunned in yet another sheer number at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards in November 2022.
The white and gold Victoria Beckham gown featured a cowl neckline and strategically placed opaque sections of fabric.
In pink Valentino at the brand's haute couture show
Pugh looked every bit the Hollywood princess in a bright pink Valentino gown complete with ruffles and sheer detailing in Rome in July 2022.
However, the ensemble – which she wore to the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show – prompted some "vulgar" comments, and the star defended the nipple-baring look on Instagram.

Undeterred by the criticism, the star wore sheer Valentino again during Paris Fashion Week in October 2022.
Accessorising her matching long-sleeved crop top and skirt, she clutched an elegant white handbag.
Purple Valentino at Venice Film Festival
In September, the actress exhibited the most perfect, stylish airport look we've seen in a while when she arrived at the Venice International Film Festival in September 2022.
She wore a coordinated crop top, shorts and skirt by Valentino, along with a handbag and heels in complementary shades of purple.

During the same trip to the Venice International Film Festival, Pugh then sparkled bright in a dramatic, black Valentino ensemble.
She posed on the red carpet, ahead of the Don't Worry Darling screening, alongside her glamorous grandmother Pat.

For the opening of the Tiffany & Co. exhibition in June 2022, the star opted for a lacy, black matching top and skirt by New Zealand-born designer Emilia Wickstead.
She finished off her look with some striking Tiffany jewels, her silver nose ring and long-sleeved black gloves, giving an edgy twist to her lace look.

The actress picked up her first Oscar for Little Women at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards in February 2022.
For the most important occasion in the film calendar, she opted for a stunning silky, teal blue ruffled gown by Louis Vuitton.

Shortly afterwards, at the EE British Academy Film Awards in March 2022, the actress wowed in a long-sleeved, button-front Carolina Herrera LBD.

Proving she has been an emerging style icon for a number of years, Pugh posed up a storm at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 11th Annual Governors Awards in October 2019.
