Fifteen-year-old boy from northern India builds remarkable e-bike from scrap

A 15-year-old boy from northern India has built a remarkable e-bike from scrap parts on a budget of just a few hundred pounds.

Rajan from New Delhi got his hands on an old Royal Enfield motorbike and then carefully converted it to run off electricity.

The result is an environmentally-friendly machine that can travel at around 50 kilometres per hour with a range of 100 kilometres on a full charge.

Unfortunately, Rajan can't get a learner's license until he's 16, even though his engineering skills have clearly shown wisdom beyond his years.
