Zoopla's 10 most-viewed homes of 2022 so far
The new year often brings the urge for a fresh start, and for some this means setting their sights on a new home.
Typically the beginning of the year marks one of the busiest periods for wannabe house hunters, but 2022 seems to have seen a particular spike with housing demand up 49% compared to the recent new year average.
With that in mind property website Zoopla has revealed its list of the most viewed properties for sale during the month of January and it turns out the homes we’re all looking at are a bit of a mixed bag.
The most viewed properties are spread across England, Scotland and Wales, with locations featured including Yorksire, Glamorgan and the Isle of Bute.
A wide range of pretty impressive properties feature on the list including a former pub and brewery, a Grade II listed Georgian gatehouse (also believed to be one of the smallest detached houses in the UK) and a Victorian mansion located by the coast.
