Vicky Pattison reveals she talked about chatting up Kelvin Fletcher in front of his wife

Reality star Vicky Pattison has recalled an embarrassing occasion in which she spoke about fancying Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, not knowing his wife was present.

The 33-year-old former Geordie Shore cast member made the confession on the latest episode of her podcast The Secret To..., on which Fletcher's Strictly Come Dancing partner Oti Mabuse was the guest.

Pattison revealed that she "made a fool of myself" when Fletcher caught her eye after she saw him strip off at the recording of The All New Full Monty in 2019.

"I was standing waiting for a drink in the break and I was like: 'F***ing hell, that Kelvin Fletcher is absolutely lush.' Long before I'd met my boyfriend. I was like: 'Does anybody know if he's got a bird?'

Pattison continued: "This girl just stands up and was like: 'Yeah, he's married. To me.'

"I was like 's**t.' I went 'congratulations' and just turned away. I was f***ing mortified."

Pattison explained that, because Fletcher is an actor rather than a reality TV star, his relationship status isn't "sprawled everywhere" like her own is.

She added: "He's such a nice man and his bird is absolutely stunning.

"I felt really bad and I still do. That's the first time I've told that story out loud. I'm embarrassed."

Fletcher has been married to childhood friend Elizabeth Marsland since 2015 and the couple have two children — a daughter and a son.

He joined the cast of Emmerdale in 1996 and made more than 2,000 appearances as Andy Sugden before the character fled the village with a false passport in 2016.

He won the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing with Mabuse and also competes as a motor racing driver.

Pattison, meanwhile, was a central cast member of the first nine series of the raucous structured reality show Geordie Shore, before leaving the programme in 2014.

She went on to win the 2015 series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and has appeared on numerous other reality shows, as well as a presenter and reporter for This Morning.
