  • London Zoo showed off it's newest attraction, a female Sloth Bear cub. Not yet named, it was born on 4th February 2001, it is almost six months old and weighs about 8-10 kilos. The mother Lanka and her cub, are natives of Sri Lanka and the Indian sub-Continent. *London Zoo is the only place you can see this endangered species in the UK, and the birth is a huge boost to the Breeding Programme (EEP).
