  • Ant McPartlin is one half of the hugely popular TV double act, Ant and Dec, and as such has an impressive net worth, thanks to his decades of television work including projects such as SM:TV Live, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Britain's Got Talent and of course, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. Thanks to the pair's immense popularity, as well as investing in property and owning his own production company, Ant has required quite the fortune throughout his career, but just how much is he worth? Ahead of Tuesday night's NTAs, find out everything about the star from his net worth, personal life and career here... ## Early life and career Ant McPartlin was born in Newcastle on 18 November 1975, and is known for his Geordie accent. He was given a role in Byker Grove when he was just 14 years old as PJ, who is onscreen best friends with Duncan (played by Ant's real-life best friend and showbiz partner, Dec). The pair were hugely popular on the show, and went on to become musicians after leaving the show in 1993, and had a hit with Let's Get Ready to Rumble in 1994. The pair also presented the hugely popular 90s TV show SM:TV Live, before moving into prime time television and presenting shows including Friends Like These and Pop Idol. The pair also made their film debut in the 2006 film Alien Autopsy, and made a cameo appearance in Love Actually. Since then, they are perhaps best known for presenting Britain's Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm a Celebrity, and have won several accolades for the shows. ## Struggles with addiction Back in 2017, Ant revealed that he was going to rehab for alcoholism and addiction to painkillers after a botched knee surgery left him in constant pain. At the time, he released a statement which read: "I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I am truly sorry. I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends for helping me through this really difficult time. I've spoken out because I think it’s important that people ask for help if they’re going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery." Despite completing two months of rehab and returning to his TV career to present I'm a Celebrity, Ant was charged with drink driving just a few months later, in April 2018, after causing a car crash leaving several people injured. After being charged, Ant appeared in court and was given an £86,000 fine, plus £85 prosecution fees and a £170 surcharge. According to Sky News, this was around four and a half day's pay for the star, as it was revealed he earns £130,000 a week. Following his court appearance, he told reporters: "I just wanted to say that I am truly sorry for what happened. Higher standards are expected of me, I expect them of myself. I let myself down, I let a lot of people down, for that I'm truly sorry. I'd like to apologise to everyone involved in the crash and I'm just thankful no-one was seriously hurt." While it was rumoured that Ant would join Dec for the 2018 series of I'm a Celeb, the pair confirmed that Ant would be taking a break until 2019, and Holly Willoughby would be filling his shoes for the one year. The statement read: "My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off. I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year." The pair also confirmed that they would not be filming Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway in 2019. READ:Scarlett Moffatt marks Dec's birthday with photo from this very special occasion Ant confirmed he would be returning to work in 2019, and started on Britain's Got Talent in January 2019. He also gave an exclusive interview to The Sun about his recovery, and explained that Dec was "rightly" angry with his after his arrest. He said: "He's angry, of course he’s angry. But it's justified and I understood it. Underneath all of that is love and still is love. And that’s what we talked about more than anything." READ: What is Declan Donnelly's net worth and how much does he earn as a solo presenter? ## Relationships Ant was in a relationship with Strictly make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, with the pair tying the knot back in July 2006. After 11-years of marriage, Ant announced that he had filed for a divorce in January 2018. Since their split, Ant has reportedly been in a relationship with Anne-Marie Corbett, who joined him for Dec's birthday celebrations in September. For his friend's birthday, Ant shared a snap of Dec posing behind a dress, and wrote: "Happy Birthday from the big one to the little one! A." ## Net worth Ant's net worth is thought to be around £62 million. The presenter's 2007 deal with ITV was reportedly £40million, with their latest deal thought to be around £30million between them. Ant also owns properties thought to be worth £5million. The pair also own the production company Mitre, and promotions firm, Hurley, and Ant owns another production company by himself, Deecour. It was also revealed during Ant's court case that he makes around £130,000 a week.
  • Declan Donnelly is one of Britain's most beloved television stars, joining partner-in-crime Ant McPartlin to make up comedy presenting duo Ant and Dec. The pair first found fame together in BBC teen drama Byker Grove, before going on to dominate primetime entertainment shows such as Britain's Got Talent, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and Saturday Night Takeaway. So it's no wonder that the 42-year-old's net worth is estimated to be around £62million. His presenting deal with ITV in 2007 was rumoured to be worth around £40million, however a more recent deal is said to be worth around £30million - if split between himself and Ant. Fans praised Dec's solo presenting skills The TV duo are also property investors too and they reportedly own properties worth around £10million combined. Over the past year, Dec's counterpart has been dominating headlines following his three-car collision in Richmond, London in March. He was charged with drink-driving, and has since stepped down from work commitments, forcing Dec to host the final two episodes of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and the Britain's Got Talent live show as a solo presenter. RELATED: Should Declan Donnelly go solo permanently? After the series' finale of Saturday Night Takeaway, Dec told the live audience that the shows had been fun, but also "tinged with sadness". He also called for a round of applause for his presenting partner of nearly 30 years. In a video posted on Twitter by an audience member, Dec could be seen saying: "Thanks for all the love and support, it's been a series tinged with... well…" When an audience member then shouts out, "We miss Ant", Dec replied: "Yes, we do, we do. Would you give a round of applause to Ant, who's back at home. Thank you so much. He'll appreciate that a great, great deal." Dec recently presented Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain's Got Talent alone Dec has since gone from strength-to-strength, with his memorable solo appearances on Britain's Got Talent's semi-final shows including a starring role in the opening to The Greatest Showman. The dad-to-be also performed There's No Business Like Show Business!. The show hit a peak of nine million viewers during the first semi-final, beating 2017's ratings by one million and proving that Dec can carry a show success-wise without his co-presenter. ## Who is Dec married to? Dec has had an amazing 12 months as he and his wife Ali Astall welcomed their first child together. The couple started dating in 2013 and managed to keep their blossoming relationship under wraps for a few months, before they went public with their romance. Dec had been close friends with Ali, his long-term talent agent, for over a decade. Their chemistry was clear to see, but the pair had always been reluctant to act on their feelings because of their working relationship. Dec has previously said: "When she was single and I was single we'd go out for dinner on Valentine's night together (as friends) because we didn't have partners." In 2013, they finally took the plunge and started dating. READ: What is Holly Willoughby's net worth? Loading the player... After a year and a half of dating, Dec popped the question in 2014 when the pair were working in Australia. The TV star was filming I'm A Celebrity, while Ali had travelled with him as his manager. The lovebirds married in a beautiful ceremony in Dec's Newcastle hometown back in 2015. Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Ashley Roberts, Dermott O'Leary, Phillip Schofield, Marvin and Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly were just some of the celebrity guests who were spotted arriving at the wedding - as well as the groom's best man and comedy partner Ant. IN PICTURES: Declan Donnelly and Ali Astall's love story Dec and Ali at their star-studded wedding In March 2018, the Saturday Night Takeaway star tweeted his excitement about becoming a new dad. He wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child. Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it." MORE: Ali Astall shows off her baby bump A few days later on Father's Day, Dec then tweeted: "Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there to all the dads that have passed and of course, all of the Dads to be! Have a great day." Ali later opened up about expecting her first child at the BAFTA TV Awards back in May, telling the Mirror: "I just wish it would come out now, that we could fast-forward to having the baby. We want to get on with it - we can't wait." Dec and Ali welcomed their first daughter into the world in September, announcing the exciting news to fans on Twitter. ‪"Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o'clock this morning. Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x." At that time, proud friend Ant also took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. His message read: "Welcome to the world baby Isla Elizabeth Anne. Can’t wait for cuddles. I love you already!! Uncle Ant xxxxx." Just two months after Isla's arrival, the family-of-three even flew to Australia in November for Dec's filming commitments with I'm a Celebrity…Get me Out of Here!. Like this story? "It's back to normal for BGT - fingers crossed it will be great," he told the Mirror at the time. Ant has been taking a long break from television following his arrest for drink-driving in March, however he gave Holly his blessing to take over his usual role on I'm A Celebrity. "All the very best of luck little fella and @hollywills for the show tonight. Lots of love from the big fella! A. I'm A Celeb. X," he wrote. To help ensure that Ant's recovery goes smoothly, ITV bosses made the decision to push back the next series of Saturday Night Takeaway to 2020, meaning the show won't air this year. • It has been confirmed that Declan Donnelly will have a new sidekick on this autumn’s series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, as his screen partner Ant McPartlin takes time off. Ant stepped down from his TV work in March to have treatment after his drink-driving arrest and announced earlier this month that he would be taking the rest of the year off. It had been thought that Dec might present the jungle reality show solo but speaking at this week’s Edinburgh TV Festival, ITV's director of television Kevin Lygo said the channel have already chosen Dec's co-host. However, the big tease declined to reveal who it was. We run down the 10 main runners and riders… Stephen Mulhern The magician-turned-presenter has form for stepping into Ant’s shoes, having helped out Dec for the Saturday Night Takeaway finale this spring. He also works with the duo as host of BGT sister show Britain's Got More Talent. Declan Donnelly and Stephen Mulhern Credit: Rex Pros: He’s amusing, ambitious and ITV seem desperate to make him a bona fide star. Cons: Tends to divide opinion. Looks like an Oompah-Loompah or Chucky from Child’s Play. Odds: 7/4 favourite Caroline Flack As presenter of ITV2 summer phenomenon Love Island, Flack’s stock is as high as her trademark short shorts. She also helmed the I’m A Celeb spin-off show back in 2010.  Caroline Flack Pros: She’s used to eliminating contestants in sunny locations. “Flack and Dec” sounds quite snappy. Cons: Could be seen as too “yoof” for such a broad, mainstream show. Flopped when she replaced Dermot O’Leary on The X Factor three years ago.  Odds: 9/4 Scarlett Moffatt The former Gogglebox starlet was crowned Queen Of The Jungle two years ago and co-hosted last year's ITV2 I’m A Celeb spin-off show Extra Camp. She’s close buddies with Ant and Dec, who signed her up for presenting duties on Saturday Night Takeaway.  Scarlett Moffatt Pros: Would maintain the Geordie ratio. Promoting her would be a pleasing two fingers up to the body-shaming trolls.  Cons: Seems to have ruled herself out by confirming she’ll be back on Extra Camp this year. Odds: 9/2 Holly Willoughby The ITV favourite affectionately dubbed “Willoughbooby” was rumoured as a potential stand-in last year, when it was unclear if Ant would return following his first stint in rehab.  Holly Willoughby Credit: rex Pros: She’s a friend of the Geordie chipmunks, shares their manager and is accustomed to the dynamics of a double act due to her screen partnership with Philip Schofield. Cons: ITV might prefer to leave her on This Morning. Willoughby could also be reluctant to spend a month away from her three young children. Odds: 5/1 Joel Dommett The likeably goofy comedian finished runner-up to Scarlett Moffatt on the 2016 series and last year, the pair co-presented spin-off show Extra Camp.  Joel Dommett Credit: ITV Pros: Would provide an injection of humour to fill the Ant-sized hole.  Cons: Beard, tattoos and free-wheeling wit might make him too hipster-ish for primetime ITV. Odds: 11/2 Julia Morris The 50-year-old Aussie comedienne hosts the Down Under version of I'm A Celebrity... and went viral this week after a fan posted a montage of her irresistible intro jokes on Twitter. Has openly expressed interest in the job, saying: “I’d take it in a heartbeat. I’m a long-standing fan and lived in the UK for seven years. I couldn’t capture Ant’s magic but would bring something reasonably elderly and slightly overweight to the show.” Obsessed pic.twitter.com/pXt4e8Fpd1— Tom King (@tomilo) August 21, 2018 Pros: Lives in Sydney, so ITV would save on air fares. Cons: Hardly a household name over here.  Odds: 11/2 Cat Deeley The host of US contest So You Think You Can Dance has a BAFTA and five Emmy nominations for her presenting. She might relish a return to British primetime, plus h strong connections with Ant and Dec from their days on fondly remembered kids’ show SMTV: Live. Ant & Dec with Cat Deeley Credit: PA Pros: “Cat and Dec” sounds reassuringly almost familiar.  Cons: Has a two-month-old baby son. Husband Patrick Kielty might get jealous.  Odds: 6/1 Emma Willis The presenter of Big Brother and The Voice is a reality contest veteran and seen as a safe pair of hands. Emma Willis  Credit: wireimage Pros: Slick, smiley, surprisingly funny. Would enable Dec to ask “Whatchoo talking about, Willis?” Cons: A tad too rent-a-host. Odds: 7/1 Keith Lemon The moustachioed, mulleted, potty-mouthed alter-ego of character comedian Leigh Francis is an ITV regular, with vehicles including Celebrity Juice, The Keith & Paddy Picture Show and Through the Keyhole. Keith Lemon with the stars of Celebrity Juice Pros: Mischievous nature would add a frisson of unpredictability to the live shows. Cons: A love-or-loathe Marmite presence. Likely to swear and upset the grannies. Odds: 9/1 Piers Morgan The jowly co-host of Good Morning Britain was mentioned as a tongue-in-cheek option by ITV grand poobah Kevin Lygo, who joked: "It's going to be Piers Morgan. Or it could be Jeremy Corbyn. I can't say." Pros: Pitbull-ish journalistic style would stop the campmates’ exit interviews being bland. Susanna Reid would be glad to get rid of him for a few weeks. Would be marginally better than Corbyn. Cons: Might get too hot under the collar and have a coronary on live TV.  Odds: 25/1 outsider
