Sharon Stone wows in white dress at final night of Cannes

Proving that she remains forever the Hollywood icon, Sharon Stone stunned in a white gown at Cannes on Saturday night.

The actress, 63, stepped out in a Dolce & Gabbana dress on the final evening of the glamorous French film festival.

It featured a glittering, silver bodice as well as a one-shouldered sash and a thigh-high split.

The star – who attended the event with her 21-year-old son Roan – finished off her dazzling look with sparkly drop earrings and strappy heels.

It was the same shade as Stone's most famous look – when she wore a short-sleeved, turtle-necked dress in the 1992 film Basic Instinct.

The mother-of-three shared images of her Cannes outfit on Instagram, with the post receiving more than 79,000 'likes'.

Fellow actress Andie Macdowell wrote: "Beautiful picture I love the light."

Another Hollywood star, Naomi Watts, commented: "Stunning!!!"

Stone has impressed with an assortment of gorgeous designer ensembles during the 12-day movie festival, located in the south of France.

Earlier this week, she slipped on an off-shoulder, voluminous blue dress with floral detailing that was also created by Dolce & Gabbana.

She also stepped out one evening in a slinky, blank Alberta Ferreti gown.

On Friday evening, she hosted the amFAR Gala in a purple halter-necked dress, again by Dolce & Gabbana.

Last month, the actress wished social media users a "happy summer" while relaxing in a yellow bikini.

The picture, which appeared to be taken at home, was popular with her followers – who included a number of fellow famous faces.

Fellow actress Rose McGowen wrote: "You deserve all the Oscars that ever existed."

While Kate Hudson left a series of yellow hearts, and Andie McDowell shared a fire emoji.
