Paul Bettany has confessed he "cried like a baby" as he proudly watched his son graduate high school.

The WandaVision star - who has two children and a stepson with Labyrinth star Jennifer Connelly - shared a rare glimpse of his family as he celebrated 17-year-old Stellan's graduation.

Bettany posted a picture of himself and his son on Instagram captioned: "So that happened. The short version is that Stellan graduated and I cried like a baby."

The 50-year-old actor also posted a snap of himself holding Stellan as a baby on the set of his 2004 rom com Wimbledon.

He wrote: "Here's me holding Stellan at about a week old... Today my beautiful kid graduates high school! Time… My head is spinning. Very proud of everything Stellan has accomplished so far and even more excited about what the future holds."

He also shared a photo with 23-year-old stepson Kai joking: "My eldest son kai waits patiently while I try to figure out the timer on my camera… aaaand gets bored before I figure it out … then leaves me solo."

Bettany and Connelly, 50, met when they starred together in 2001 Oscar-winning film A Beautiful Mind.

They married in 2003 and also have a 10-year-old daughter.
