Stacey Solomon has announced that she and Joe Swash are postponing their wedding now that they are expecting a baby.

The Loose Women star revealed this week that the couple are expecting their second child together after trying for “a really long time”.

The pair got engaged on Christmas Eve and had been planning to tie the knot in their back garden this summer.

However, Solomon - who has a son with Swash and two sons from previous relationships - said their nuptials have been pushed back because they would rather exchange vows with all of their children there.

She told fans on Instagram: “We are going to move it back a bit, maybe not until next year, but we both said we’d be a bit gutted to look back at pictures and all of our babies weren’t there.

“So for the sake of a few months we will do it when they’re all here.”

The TV star, 31, is already mum to sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from former relationships.

Swash has a 13-year-old son, Harry, from a previous relationship, and the couple share two-year-old Rex.

Solomon announced her baby news on Instagram, telling fans: “We are growing another pickle.

“We’ve never felt so grateful… I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance.

“We love you all to the moon and back.”

“For a really long time we've been trying for another pickle. It didn't work out and this was our news quite a few times,” she said.

“We decided we were so lucky already to have our boys.

“It is our biggest privilege in life and we are so grateful to be parents so we stopped trying and counted ourselves so, so, so blessed already.”

She also shared a letter revealing that she had suffered a miscarriage.
