Perrie Edwards is pregnant: Another Little Mix star is expecting

Perrie Edwards has announced she is expecting her first child with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The exciting pregnancy news comes just a week after her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared her own pregnancy announcement.

Edwards, 27, told fans her baby news in an Instagram post showing her baby bump being cradled by her hands and Oxlade-Chamberlain's.

A second photo showed the couple smiling and embracing.

Edwards wrote: "So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate

"Me + Him = You

"We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!"

Little Mix fans were quick to offer their congratulations - and their surprise that two of the group's three members will become mums this year.

A week earlier, Pinnock, 29, revealed that she was expecting her first child with fiance Andre Gray by releasing a series of photos showing her bump.

In recent TV interviews, Pinnock, Edwards and Little Mix co-star Jade Thirlwall has all worn baggy, loose-fitting clothes which fans had assumed was to help Pinnock disguise her bump - but hadn't realised that Edwards was keeping the same secret.

Talking on BBC Breakfast after her pregnancy announcement, Pinnock said: "I'm having a baby!

"It still feels so weird actually saying it because I've been hiding it so long, so I'm just so relieved that it's finally out there and I can relax and embrace my bump. I feel good.

"It's such sensitive information, I wanted to be the one to tell the world and obviously when you're famous there are people who like to tell things and leak things so I just wanted to be that person to say my beautiful news."

Little Mix became a trio in December when Jesy Nelson announced that she was quitting the group following struggles with her mental health.
