Pepe Le Pew removed from Space Jam sequel

The Looney Tunes character Pepe Le Pew has been axed from the forthcoming Space Jam sequel.

The cartoon skunk, famous for his amorous advances, will no longer appear in Space Jam: A New Legacy, due for release later this year.

According to reports, a scene was filmed featuring the character but the decision has been taken to remove it after claims that Pepe Le Pew 'normalised rape culture'.
