The stars of People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan have their eyes on a biopic for the Kurupt FM team — and it seems the cast could stretch from Danny DeVito to DJ Khaled, via Peter Crouch.

MC Grindah (Allan Mustafa) suggested a couple of contenders to play his colleague DJ Beats (Hugo Chegwin).

Grindah said: "We've gone for James Corden for Beats, or Danny DeVito. Someone sort of short and similar physique."

Grindah's choices for himself were perhaps more flattering, suggesting that "the obvious choice is Idris Elba" before offering up the likes of Daniel Craig, Tom Hardy and Russell Crowe.

As for the Kurupt FM boys' manager Chabuddy G (Asim Chaudhry), it seems either DJ Khaled or adult film star Ron Jeremy would be in the frame, though Chabuddy noted that the latter is now in prison.

Steves (Steve Stamp) volunteered that he'd considered former England footballer Peter Crouch to play him, and even noted that he "did ask him" when the group appeared on his Euro 2020 show over the summer, but that he's not an actor.

Chabuddy G then suggested that "Rodney from Del Boy" — aka Nicholas Lyndhurst — could in fact portray Steves.
