The Nolan Sisters are reuniting to perform together for the first time in 43 years as sister Denise Nolan joins the new series of their cruising show.

Coleen Nolan, 56, and sisters Anne, 70, Maureen, 67, Linda, 62, are to be joined by 69-year-old sister Bernice on the second series of their Quest Red TV show The Nolans Go Cruising which will see them perform live on stage.

Linda — who has incurable cancer — told The Mirror: “We had so much fun on our last trip and it’s great all five of us are doing it this time around!”

Coleen added: “I can’t wait to be setting sail with my sisters again, letting our hair down and exploring the UK coast together.”

It will be the first time the five sisters have performed all together since Denise quit the band in 1978 to pursue a solo career.

The Nolan Sisters found fame as part of a girl group in 1974 with hits including I’m In The Mood For Dancing. The original line-up also included sister Bernie who died aged 52 in 2010 following a battle with breast cancer.

Last year Linda revealed doctors had confirmed her cancer had returned, within days of sister Anne also being diagnosed with breast cancer.

The sisters underwent chemotherapy treatment together and Anne revealed in December last year that her cancer had "disappeared".

However Linda, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, revealed her cancer has spread and is now incurable.

The first series of The Nolans Go Cruising saw the sisters enjoying a trip around the Mediterranean, reminiscing and rehearsing, before performing their hit I’m In The Mood For Dancing for the ship's passengers on the final night of the cruise.

Looking back at her childhood in the band Coleen said last year: "I worked from nine to 19 with no rules at all. Missing school, getting in at three in the morning, working every hour god sends in working men clubs after school, straight from school to the club. I would have killed for a little bit of those kinds of rules then.

“I suppose we were exploited a little bit – in the nicest possible way. We didn't feel it was an exploitation, but I suppose it was in a way, you know.”
