Nick Grimshaw and Harry Redknapp are apparently isolating after somebody tested positive for the coronavirus on Michael McIntyre’s game show The Wheel.

The pair were filming the BBC show and had contact with a member of the production who later tested positive for COVID, reported the Mirror.

The presenter and the former football manager are thought to have tested negative for the virus. However, they are now said to be staying at home in isolation for 10 days in accordance with COVID guidelines.

Grimshaw shared pictures on Instagram showing him hosting his Radio 1 show from home, saying he was “live from me lounge”.

When a fan asked if he was off sick, he replied: “Nah gotta isolate cos someone at work got COVID but all good here.”

The Mirror reported that the situation has also affected some of Redknapp’s planned engagements.

A spokesperson for The Wheel told Yahoo: "We can confirm an individual has tested positive for COVID.

“The production has and will continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the show."

The Wheel sees seven stars strapped to the circumference of a giant wheel.
