It’s your full spoiler rundown for Emmerdale in the week of the 26-30 of July 2021.
Liam lashes out at Jacob
Liam is in no mood to engage with Jacob and Leyla’s arrangements for Leanna’s funeral. His opinion? That what they have planned is overblown and that, from now on, he’ll be organising things himself.
After telling Leyla that she’s let him down when he needed her the most, Liam heads out to see vicar Charles to tell him that he wants a traditional, dignified and respectful service for his daughter.

But a raging Jacob is determined to get his point across and pleads with Liam to reconsider, pointing out that the service should reflect all that was unique and amazing about Leanna.
Meena fears being found out
So, when Leanna’s funeral does take place, we’ll see psychopathic Meena in attendance. And during the service, we’ll find her covertly fiddling with Leanna’s ring on her necklace.
But Meena will be thrown into a panic when the ring falls from the necklace, rolls across the ground and comes to a stop by Liam’s shoe. Silently stricken, the village murderer fears that this is the moment when her duplicity will be discovered.
Marlon helps April when she’s trolled online
Any parent concerned about what their child is getting up to online won’t find much solace in April’s current angst. She’s being trolled about what happened to her mum and will now be shocked when she discovers that an account called “Dead Donna” has been created.
When Cathy finds April sitting by Donna’s grave, she says she’ll protect her but reckons it’s best that Marlon doesn’t know about the bullying. But it isn’t long before the Woolpack chef is demanding to know the full story after overhearing Cathy and Heath discussing April’s online ordeal.
After finding her once again seeking comfort at Donna’s graveside, Marlon apologises to April for not protecting her and, intent on getting rid of the bullies once and for all, he takes her phone and deletes all her social media accounts. Marlon’s plan is to then keep hold of her mobile for another few weeks until everything settles down. But will this tactic work?
Aaron blames Liv for Ben’s misery
Ben is at a loss as to what he should do about the emotionally blackmailing texts he’s receiving from his dad, Warren. Aaron’s response is to advise Ben to delete them, which he does. And after doing so, he also apologises to Liv for having lied to her about his connection to Warren.
Ben then decides to collect the rest of his belongings from his dad’s house but turns down Aaron’s offer to move in to the Mill. He explains that he can’t be around another alcoholic and Aaron is forced to accept this decision – but privately he’s angry with Liv for having ruined things.
And when Aaron later arrives home to find Liv drinking vodka again, he can’t help but vent his rage and blame her. But she fires back that Ben’s reluctance stems from him not really being that into Aaron. Now close to boiling point, how will an apoplectic Aaron respond?
