Zeedan is attacked
It doesn’t take long for Zeedan’s comeback to go pear-shaped. In fact, on Monday, the Weatherfield returnee will be seen launching a verbal attack on Ryan for cheating on Alya, only to then be beaten up himself.
In the aftermath, Zeedan tries to frame Ryan by claiming that he was the one who caused his injuries.

But, pretty soon, Yasmeen and Alya have managed to get the truth out of Zee about the trouble he’s in.
Bombshells at Norris’s funeral
Norris's send-off will descend into acrimony when Billy reads out a letter written by the man himself prior his death. In it, he teases that the paperboy statue outside the Kabin contains a secret and then reveals that Rita used to surreptitiously have her hair coloured by Claudia rather than Audrey.
The bombshell disclosure results in the two women rowing at the wake, while over at the Kabin, Mary chainsaws the paperboy’s head off in order to discover what lies inside…
Kelly discovers the truth about her dad?
When news breaks at the prison that she’s Rick Neelan’s daughter, Kelly finds her fellow inmate Mia in a state of shock. Mia explains that Rick is the reason she’s locked up and why her mum is dead, but a stunned Kelly insists that he’s now living in Spain and has paid her legal fees.
Mia is far from convinced and blurts out that she reckons someone has done away with Rick – all of which leads to Kelly calling Gary and demanding that he tell her the truth about what’s happened to her dad.
Gemma and Freda argue over Aled
Despite Gemma’s assurances that she’ll maintain links with other deaf people following Aled’s operation, Freda can’t help but be annoyed when she overhears talk of how the youngster will be “normal” once he has his cochlear implants.
Freda then offers to take Aled out for a walk, but Gemma is later left panicked when the two of them fail to return home. Eventually, the pair are tracked down to the community centre, but Gemma is thrown when Freda refuses to hand Aled over.
David’s feud with Daniel
After Daniel offers to help Summer with her university application, David cries foul and tears a strip off him for his supposed favouritism.
David suggests that, given Daniel’s history with Bethany, he probably fancies Summer - a jibe that is overheard by Max. The next day at school, Max makes a dig at Daniel, likening his relationship with Bethany to that of Romeo and Juliet.
But when Daniel’s wallet later goes missing, he’s quick to accuse Max and demand that he empties his pockets. Witnessing the commotion, David intervenes and warns Daniel that there’ll be payback for his actions. Daisy, meanwhile, tries to calm Daniel down, telling him that he’s risking his career with no proof of Max’s guilt.
