Montana Brown has warned future Love Island contestants that "fame and money don't last forever".
The reality star, who competed on the third series of the ITV2 dating show, admitted to behaving "like a bit of a brat" in the year after leaving the show due to the attention appearing on the programme brought.
Brown, 25, told Cosmopolitan UK: “The first year after Love Island, I behaved like a bit of a brat – people give you everything for free, and do everything for you. But you can’t forget that you’re quite disposable in this industry.

“Future contestants need to know what they’re getting into, and also understand that fame and money don’t last forever. In the beginning I was constantly looking in my peripherals to see what other contestants were doing. Who’s working with which brands? Who’s getting paid what?
She went on: “You psychoanalyse yourself, because you feel pressure to look a certain way in order to get the work."
Brown explained she had to discover what she was passionate about "beyond social media".

After Love Island, she went on to found her own swimwear brand, Swim Society, in 2019.

Her comments come as a new series of the reality show is expected to launch in the coming weeks.
This week saw presenter Laura Whitmore and husband Iain Stirling, who provides the programme's voiceover, tease their arrival to Mallorca where the show is typically filmed.
Sharing a photo to Instagram of the show's classic water bottles featuring their names, he wrote: "Not long now..."
