Martine McCutcheon impresses in black faux leather trousers reduced in Zara sale to £20

It may be summer but if it's still a bit too cold for bare legs, Martine McCutcheon has a chic solution.

The actress, 45, wowed her fans on Instagram with a pair of black faux leather trousers from Zara that she slipped on for filming recently.

They are currently reduced from £29.99 to a bargain £19.99 in the popular clothing chain's sale.

The star wore them to shoot with her former Eastenders co-star Martin Kemp and his son Roman Kemp for ITV's Martin and Roman's Weekend Best.

McCutcheon paired the stylish trousers with a lacy, short-sleeved black top and strappy black heels.

Captioning the weekend post – which has received more than 10,000 'likes' – she wrote: "Watch me with these gorgeous people this morning! Whoop! We had a giggle!"

However, it was the Love Actually star's outfit that caught the eye of her followers.

They called her ensemble "gorgeous" and "fabulous", with many specifically asked where her trousers were from.

The mother-of-one revealed that she had picked them up from the affordable brand, and currently had 30 per cent knocked off their price.

They have a high-waisted design, and come with side pockets and a front metal-hook fastening.

You can still purchase them on the shop's website in sizes ranging from 6 right up to 18.

It comes just weeks after she revealed that she feels sexier in her 40s than her 20s.

Speaking to The Sun, the singer and actress said: "I’m feeling so much more fulfilled, confident and sexy than I ever did in my 20s.

“What’s amazing is looking at people like Jennifer Lopez and Helen Mirren, who are ageing and yet their careers are still going strong. They’ve got this inner glow.

“People always thought I was really confident, but it was a good act. Genuine confidence took time for me.”

McCutcheon lives with her musician husband Jack McManus and their seven-year-old son Rafferty in Surrey.
