It's a MAFS bonanza this Monday (October 4) as the launch show of Married At First Sight Australia season eight precedes the reunion episode of the UK version where we'll find out which couples are still together.

The Australian series airs on E4 at 7.30pm nightly from Monday to Friday.

Who will last from the season 8 couples? (Channel 4)

We're yet to meet this season's couples but will update you as they're matched.

The series will start out with nine couples paired up to marry, but with previous Australian series adding new couples to the mix weeks in, it would be no surprise if a few more joined them.

In episode one, we'll meet the 18 people taking part at the stag and hen nights before the first two couples go ahead with their vows.

Here, she'll be joined by regular co-star John Aiken who is also back to dispense romance advice to the Australian couples.

Making up the third spot on the panel is sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.

Where is MAFS Australia season 7?

SPOILER WARNING

During the winter lockdown earlier this year, MAFS Australia's sixth season became a huge hit with viewers stuck at home every night.

When it ended, fans of the show were desperate to get on with season seven which was originally expected to air on E4 in the summer.

However, it seems to have been replaced with the rebooted UK series which has just ended after a format change that made it much more like the Australian version.

Viewers can watch seasons five and six on All 4, but it appears that the broadcaster has chosen to skip season seven and will be airing season nine next year, currently being trailed in Australia where it hasn't shown yet.

It's a shame that we won't get to see season seven as it included the return of season six bride Elizabeth, who was famously cheated on by Sam who briefly got together with another bride, Ines.

Elizabeth returned for season seven where she found love with her second-chance husband Seb, although the pair later split after the experiment ended.

Which of the MAFS Australia season 6 couples are still together?

SPOILER WARNING

There were so many couples involved in season six of Married At First Sight Australia that some of them never even met, having left the experiment before others joined.

However, unlike many series of the show that have aired around the world, it did start two lasting love stories.

Jules and Cam were completely smitten from day one and had possibly the smoothest journey MAFS has ever seen.

Since the show, Jules and Cam have got married for real and realised their dream of becoming parents when baby Oliver was born in September 2020.

Also still in love and going strong are Martha and Michael, who managed to rise above the drama of the rowing couples around them to stay together long term.

That's it, though - all of the other couples either crashed out of the experiment, or split shortly after it ended.
