Kym Marsh steps back from 'Morning Live' amid dad's cancer battle
Kym Marsh has revealed she has stepped back from the BBC’s Morning Live to focus on her family after her dad was diagnosed with cancer.
The former Corrie star – who shared earlier this year that her dad David was battling prostate cancer – has been missing from her presenting role of late.
And she has now explained that it's because she wants to be there for her dad and the rest of her family, and that she’s also suffering from anxiety attacks.

Appearing on the programme on Friday, she said: “For now I'm just going to take each day as it comes and not put any pressure on myself.
"So I'll check in on the Morning Live family with my own family for now."
Marsh – who is due to tie the knot with her fiancé Scott Ratcliff this year – told co-host Gethin Jones: "Don’t be getting too comfortable without me Gethin, please.
"I'll see you on the dancefloor at the wedding.”

The star said that she had suffered with anxiety attacks in the past and that they had “come back with a vengeance”.
"Life has been pretty difficult for me," she said.
"Trying to support my family, and working away was making that really difficult. There had to come that point where I just thought, I can't do this, I can't be away from my family. I need to make a choice here of what I'm going to do.
"And I started to avoid going places again, which was a sign for me that this is not OK."
“I decided to step back from Morning Live to focus on myself and my nearest and dearest," she went on.
The star said she's been to the doctor and is getting help for her mental health.
Marsh has previously revealed that her dad is determined to walk her down the aisle when she and Ratcliff exchange vows.

She told OK! magazine in July: "It’s given Dad a little focus and something to look forward to. He’s going to be there to walk me down the aisle and he’s determined that that’s going to be the case."
