Watch Jeremy Clarkson shocked as piglets 'escape' in Clarkson's Farm exclusive clip

Jeremy Clarkson declares the piglets have "escaped" in a hilarious new clip from Clarkson's Farm.

Yahoo has an exclusive preview of the second drop of Clarkson's Farm season three and it looks a lot of fun — watch it above. In the Prime Video programme, Clarkson faces more chaos with the piglets as he tries to separate the male and female litters into different pens.

Of course, it doesn't go according to plan. Funny scenes show Clarkson and his girlfriend Lisa Hogan trying to round up the piglets. When Hogan managed to get the piglets into a corner, they think they have succeeded for a split second.

Then in a cheeky moment Clarkson watched on in surprise as the piglets break free. "They've gone down a narrow passageway and they've escaped!" He declared. Very amused, Hogan burst out laughing while watching the piglets roam free while Clarkson was left pondering on how to deal with the situation. "How does anyone sex split a weaner?" Clarkson asked.

Clarkson and his girlfriend had started with good intentions as they set out their plans to sex split the piglets. "The males go in here," he explained. "We've got the three metre gap. Then we've got the ladies' ones. Sex splitting."

Within moments of trying to round up the piglets, their plan started to fall apart and the chaos unfolded on Diddly Squat farm. Hogan asked genuinely if the sex splitting was happening. "Nope," Clarkson responded. "That went well."

It then cut to the piglets racing through the unfarmed woodland. Huffing and puffing, Clarkson then walked behind them in a seemingly half-hearted attempt to get them back. This really amused Hogan and she cheekily told her partner: "You're literally just walking after piglets."

Clarkson was quick to defend himself saying: "No I'm getting them back up towards you to get them in a corner." Moments afterwards, the TV presenter declared he had failed. "No I've failed to get them in the corner," he said.

However, he was delighted to see some of the piglets come back. "Here they come!" He said. "There they go." Then Clarkson changed tactic as he tried to offer the piglets some food. He shook the bucket of dried food and cooed: "Come on piggies!"

It worked only momentarily for Hogan to corner off the piglets before they made their most daring escape yet. This is just one of the many fun moments Clarkson's Farm fans will see in the second instalment of the third season.

This season Clarkson become a pig farmer for the first time as he tried to make money out of the unfarmed land on the farm while competing with Kaleb Cooper. Despite not always agreeing with each other, the farm manager praised Clarkson for his pig farming.

He said at a Q&A held on the farm: "With the pigs I thought, 'here we go, here is another thing I will have to babysit' but actually, it is the one thing I can leave you to do. He is actually a really good pig farmer." Clarkson faced a lot of heartache on the farm with the piglets as many of them die but on the flip side there are plenty of fun moments with the pigs too.

Clarkson's Farm has continued to be a huge success. Filming season four has already begun with TV cameras capturing the excitement and chaos on Diddly Squat farm. Hogan has shared her enthusiasm for doing the show and that they would love to keeping it going for a very special reason.

She said: "As long as it's educating people, and showing people how difficult farming is, and it's helping people appreciate food in a way that they may not have before. Maybe people will pop their bread in the freezer instead of throwing it out when they see how much work goes into making a loaf of bread."

Clarkson's Farm season three is steaming now on Prime Video. Episodes five to eight are available from 10 May.
