Hunting the Essex Lorry Killers explores one of the UK's most shocking people smuggling stories on BBC Two tonight, following the Essex Police investigation into how 39 Vietnamese migrants were discovered dead in a lorry.

On ITV, Hollington Drive rumbles towards some uneasy truths as the drama sees Anna Maxwell Martin's character continue to try to cover up for her son's crimes.

Tracing the story of the people smuggling ring that ended in tragedy in October 2019 when 39 Vietnamese migrants were discovered dead in a lorry, this documentary reveals the police investigation into the shocking case.

Essex Police eventually discovered the roots of the international smuggling ring were at a haulage company in Northern Ireland, with the documentary travelling through Britain, Europe, and eventually to Vietnam to meet the families of some of the victims.

ITV has gone heavy on the drama for autumn and its suburban thriller Hollington Drive continues tonight with the second last episode.

Two-part documentary Inside Holloway Prison delves into the murky history of the infamous prison's inmates and the practices used to contain them.

In the first episode, we learn about its brutal beginnings from 1852 to 1948 and some of the people who resided there, from serial baby killers to suffragettes.

Author RL Stine has seen his work translated to screen for Goosebumps and the Netflix Fear Street trilogy, and now his graphic novel Just Beyond gets the TV treatment.

He's compared the results to The Twilight Zone - perfect Halloween viewing that begins streaming today.

India: Nature's Wonderland - BBC Four - 8pm

Wildlife expert Liz Bonnin, Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto and mountaineer Jon Gupta explore the incredible natural wonders India has to offer in this two-part documentary.

The opening episode sees them encounter lions, elephants and gibbons, as well as travelling to the sacred waters where the River Ganges begins.
