Former Coronation Street actor Sean Ward arrested at London anti-vax protest

Former Coronation Street actor Sean Ward was arrested at a London anti-vax protest on Friday.

The arrest, which involved a number of police officers dragging Mr Ward to the ground, happened outside the Science Museum in South Kensington.

The protesters are variously against lockdowns, so-called vaccine 'passports', the vaccination of children, and sometimes vaccines in general.

Protesters earlier tried to force their way into the offices of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the UK's medicines regulator, which led to scuffles with police who prevented them entering the building.

Mr Ward has become closely associated with the so-called 'medical freedom' movement and has attended similar protests in the past.
