Billie Eilish fans were in a spin on Friday as tickets for her 2022 world tour went on sale.

The Bad Guy singer had to call off her last string of shows amid the coronavirus pandemic, but announced last week that she would hit the road next year.

The star will set out on her Happier Than Ever tour in February and will wrap up in July. Stops along the way include New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Belfast, Manchester, Frankfurt and London.

Fans who have been missing live music rushed to snap up the tickets when they went on sale.

“SO BEYOND EXCITED!!!! SEE U NEXT YEAR,” posted one person on Twitter.

Another person who secured tickets tweeted: “What a successful day!

"I’m just so happy gigs are back again, missed this part of life and my little serotonin boost for the day!

"Life is Good."

"Got tickets for Billie Eilish for me and my best friend. I’m so freaking excited," said another thrilled fan.

However, there was also disappointment among those who missed out.

One person fumed: "Literally nobody speak to me for at least a week I’m in such a mardy because I couldn’t get Billie Eilish tickets because they sold out."

And a dad posted: "How do I break it to the daughter that I’ve failed on my Billie Eilish tickets quest???

"It was my last chance at being a cool dad... gutted for us both."

Eilish, 19, recorded the song Ocean Eyes in 2015 but it was in 2019 that she shot to worldwide fame when she released her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

The album went to number one in several countries around the world, including the US and the UK.

The star’s singles include Bad Guy, Bury A Friend and Everything I Wanted.

The singer was set to tour in 2020 but had only performed three dates before postponing the rest due to the COVID pandemic.
