Eurovision Song Contest singer and competitor Hayko has died from complications connected to coronavirus.
The star - real name Hayk Hakobyan is best known for representing Armenia at the 2007 annual worldwide event back in Helsinki, Finland.
He came in eighth place with track Anytime You Need, and made history as the first act from the country to perform in their native language.

The Public Radio of Armenia confirmed the star’s passing, stating he had been in ‘grave condition’ since September 21 as he was looked after in the country’s capital, Yerevan.
Shushan Danielyan, chief of staff at the Yerevan State Medical University, announced the news.
The Eurovision Song Contest team paid tribute to Hayko following the announcement, sharing his performance and writing: “We’re very sorry to hear of the passing of Armenian artist Hayko.
“Hayko represented his country at Eurovision 2007 where he finished 8th with his touching ballad Anytime You Need.
“You will always be in our hearts.”
Armenia’s Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, also released a statement sending his well wishes to his love ones, and praised Hayko’s work as “having a unique place in Armenian heritage”
“With a deep sorrow I learned about the untimely death of beloved singer, Honored Artist of Armenia Hayko (Hayk Hakobyan),” he said in a statement.
“He was one of the brightest representatives of the Armenian modern music and has gained people’s love and respect with his activity.
“His works are loved by the people, and his ballads have their unique place in the rich heritage of the Armenian music.”
“Hayko’s music has also been performed in a number of contemporary Armenian movies which have greatly contributed to the development of Armenian filmmaking,” the leader added.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the singer’s family, relatives, friends and fans.”
