'Coronation Street' Christmas spoilers: Sam speaks, Fiz's bombshell for Tyrone, plus Adam upsets Sarah

Fiz’s shock suggestion for Tyrone
Tyrone is thrilled when Fiz cancels her holiday and arrives to celebrate Christmas Day at No 9 with the girls and Phill in tow. But when Phill heads off to visit his mum, Tyrone ends up giving Fiz an ill-timed kiss that has big repercussions.
Later on in the week, Phill reveals to Fiz that he’s got his eye on a terrific family home for them but will understand if she’s not ready to take that next step with him.

But it seems that Fiz is more than up for it and drops the bombshell on Ty that she now wants to sell their house on Coronation Street. But will Tyrone agree to the plan?
Curtis resurfaces
After a stressful and disastrous driving lesson with Faye, Emma ends up having to drop Tim at A&E. But Emma is left slack-jawed with shock when she’s met with the sight of Curtis climbing out of a taxi.
He reveals that he’s got an appointment with a psychologist and is determined to get better for her – a vow that leaves Emma feeling impressed.
Nina opens up to Asha
Nina will find the festive season a struggle as she explains to Asha that she’s suffering with anxiety and is constantly fearful that bad things will happen to those she loves.
Asha suggests that they sync their phones so that each will know where the other is. But scenes to be shown on Monday 27 December will see Nina experience a further anxiety attack, as Asha does her best to reassure her.
Gary aids Kelly in her hour of need
Abi is determined to make Kelly’s life as difficult as possible and ends up telling Imran that she wants her out of her life for good. Imran reminds Abi that she too has done some shameful things in her life, a comment that earns him a slap across the face.
But the pressure eventually becomes too much for Kelly, who ends up taking spice again and getting in trouble with the police. Enter Gary with a suggestion that he offer a roof over Kelly’s head. But will Maria agree?
Sam breaks his silence
Sam’s trauma following the death of his mum Natasha has resulted him not being able to speak. But, on Boxing Day, dad Nick will overhear him communicating with Hope on the walkie talkies she got for Christmas.
Nick can’t help but be overjoyed that Sam has finally broken his silence. However, when Sam finds out that his father has been eavesdropping on the conversation, Nick worries that they’ll be heading back to square one. Let’s keep those fingers crossed that this will prove to be the turning point where Sam’s recovery is concerned.
Adam’s past troubles Sarah
After plans for a joint Barlow-Platt Christmas end up being a washout, Adam books a posh hotel for New Year’s Eve but makes the mistake of choosing the one where he once had a one-night stand with Carla.
When a waiter makes a joke about Adam having left his wallet last time he was there, Sarah makes the connection and demands to know why he booked this particular place. And the mood sours further when Sarah then quizzes Adam about his past fling with Lydia.
Can the evening be salvaged by some sweet-talking from Adam or is it now beyond repair?
