Supermodel Cindy Crawford has recreated her iconic Pepsi Super Bowl ad from 29 years ago and it’s as epic today as it was then.

The 55-year-old star brought back one of her most famous campaigns to raise money for American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, where her late brother Jeffery was treated for leukaemia.

Crawford is seen standing outside a rural petrol station and cafe next to a red Cadillac with two wolves in the passenger seat.

She’s in a white tank top and tiny jean shorts, whipping her hair back as she sips on a vintage can of Pepsi.

Posting the photo onto Instagram, she wrote “It’s always a pleasure and a thrill to work with my friend [David Yarrow]... and even more so when it's for a good cause.

“We returned back to the original Halfway House from the famous [Pepsi] commercial I did in 1992 to recreate the moment (with a David Yarrow twist) in hopes of raising funds for the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison Wisconsin where my brother was treated for leukaemia.

“So far, with the help of David's gallery network across the globe supporting the art and its sales — we've already raised 1 million dollars for the cause. I also have to thank my dear friend, hairstylist [Peter Savic] who did the iconic hair for the original commercial... so I was thrilled he was able to be here for this version as well!”

Also crediting her make-up team and stylist, she simply added that they had “nailed it”.

The ad first aired during the 1992 Super Bowl, which is famed for showcasing big-budget advertising campaigns thanks to its multimillion viewership in the SS.

It was the first television promotion that Crawford was a part of, having built her career as a runway and couture model.

She’s since recreated the ad in 2002 – for Diet Pepsi that time around – and again for the 2018 Super Bowl.

“The commercial was a big moment for me and has spanned generations,” Crawford said at the time.

“I am proud to play a role in this iconic pop-culture phenom and excited for fans to see our take on the Pepsi spot during Super Bowl.”
