In the mood for a deal? Good thing: Walmart is running a series of early Black Friday events — dropping new sales each week to help you plan ahead and avoid holiday shortages. On our radar?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, an 10.4-inch tablet that rivals the iPad. It’s so easy to use and versatile, it just might convince Apple aficionados to switch to Android altogether. And, it’s on sale right now for $139 — it's 80 bucks off!

Ever since Steve Jobs introduced the world to the very first iPad over a decade ago, Apple has dominated the tablet market with the iPad Mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro. But there’s a ton of people who aren’t Apple and iOS users but need a top-rated tablet that runs on Android. This is it.

Usually priced at $219, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 weighs just over a pound and boasts 32GB of storage (expandable up to a whopping 1TB via microSD card), compared to Apple’s entry level, which isn’t even expandable. And unlike the iPad, the Tab A7’s 10.4-inch display has a full HD widescreen for immersive viewing.

It features an 8-megapixel selfie cam with a 5-megapixel rear shooter on the front for video calls — and this camera set is actually better than the one that comes with the iPad.

“We are an Apple home, but this tablet is just as good,” wrote a five-star reviewer. “It was easy to set up, holds a charge for hours, easy enough for the little kids to use and the picture quality is beautiful! It's very slim and lightweight, but still easy to hold. I would recommend this over the iPad. I think they are just about the same but this isn’t as pricey.”

With up to 13 hours of battery life and 3GB of memory, this Android tablet is more than zippy enough for browsing the internet, listening to music, playing games, watching YouTube videos and some light work, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.

“The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 Wi-Fi is an easy to use tablet. It has astonishing dynamic range with its Dolby Atmos surround sound system and the quality is crystal clear,” shared another satisfied Walmart shopper.

Another fan gifted one to a parent: "Mom loves it!...Mom watched Netflix on this tablet. Picture quality was great, no lag or studder, and very clear! It was a great buy at an excellent price! Mom just loves her new tablet!"

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use tablet for yourself or a loved one, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is the one — and it costs way less than an iPad.
