Brenda Edwards celebrates her late son Jamal's birthday
Brenda Edwards has celebrated the birthday of her late son Jamal, who would have turned 32 today.
Jamal Edwards, the founder of SBTV, who helped launch the career of Ed Sheeran, died in February after from a heart attack after taking cocaine.
Talking to Sky News, Brenda Edwards said it was a "bittersweet day" as she prepared to honour her son with a fundraiser where all profits would go to the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust.

She continued: "It's going to be a bittersweet day but I'm smiling thinking about him as well as the sad emotion that I've obviously got. I know he's going to be looking down watching us."
Brenda added: "It has only been six months and it's been a hard six months for myself, his sister and the family and his close friends. But we feel that we have to do something to celebrate."
She also the birthday event was about celebrating her son's life "in the best way that we know how [as] music was one of the ways that he tried to bring everybody together".
SBTV Mega Cookup In Celebration of Jamal Edwards' Birthday was due to feature a number of music performances, video games, food, live DJs and a tattoo artist.
Among those scheduled to appear at the event on Wednesday were rapper Backroad Gee, singer Fleur East and DJ Sian Anderson.
It has also been promised that there will be surprise guest performances.
Brenda Edwards also commented on her son's relationship with Ed Sheeran and how the Bad Habits singer has helped her out following Jamal's death: "Ed and Jamal's relationship has gone for many, many, many years and I'm just really grateful. Ed's been so supportive. There has been so much support from all around, so I'm really grateful for everything."
