Ben Foden has said he and ex-wife Una Healy have come "a long way" since their divorce.

The couple went their separate ways in 2018 after six years of marriage and welcoming two children together, daughter Aoife, nine, and son Tadhg, six.

Foden, 35, married second wife Jackie Belanoff in 2019 after two weeks of dating on the day his divorce from Healy, 39, was finalised. He and Belanoff's daughter Farrah was born in May last year.

Speaking about his relationship with The Saturdays singer now, Foden told OK! magazine: "Una and I have come a long way since our divorce. Our main priority is raising two healthy and loved children.

"Una’s always been a great mum.”

The children primarily reside in Ireland with Healy, but spend holidays with their father and stepmother in the US.

The couple shared how they siblings stay in touch via the phone while they live on separate continents.

Healy relocated to her home country of Ireland after the UK's first lockdown, which she's described as being "very tough" as a single parent.

After Healy and Foden split it was reported that the rugby player had been unfaithful to his wife, something he later confirmed.

In a 2019 interview with The Guardian, he said: "At the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so, because I was the one who committed adultery."

However, he did also state it wasn't the "only reason" for their divorce.
